Gerda Taro: The forgotten photojournalist killed in action

July 1937, Gerda Taro, the woman who helped launch the career of the young Robert Capa died while covering the Spanish Civil War. She was the first female photographer to die on assignment.  Today Capa’s name is recognized in the whole world, but until now, Taro was nearly completely forgotten.
